Session Info + FAQs

Sessions are by appointment only and can last from 30 minutes up to 2 hours. Remember kids will need a break for a snack & babies may need to nurse, so be sure to allow plenty of time in your schedule to ensure a relaxed and enjoyable experience for you and the child. Sessions may either be on location or in the studio. On location may be your home, a park, or a place that is special to your family. Most people - and especially children - are more relaxed and natural in these types of locations. We can also recommend a few of our favorite places.

Above all, your session is as much about having fun as it is about creating keepsakes for you and your family. The more relaxed you are, the more genuine and powerful your images will be.

Please contact the studio, (281) 560-3686, to schedule an appointment for your photography session. All sessions are by appointment only. Occasionally things come up and you may need to reschedule your appointment. In that case, please contact the studio at least 48 hours in advance if possible to change your session date. There may be a waiting list for appointments, so if you are unable to keep your session, please be courteous and call so that someone else may have the time slot. Session fees are forfeited for all no-show sessions. Thanks for your understanding.

Session fees vary depending on the type of session and the number of people being photographed. The session fee includes a pre-session consultation, the photographer's time, equipment usage and the time spent viewing the pictures to decide which images you want to invest. This also includes photographing up to 5 people, and each additional person is $10. 100% of the session fee is required at the time your appointment is scheduled to hold a date. This session fee is non-refundable, but in the event you need to reschedule your session, the session fee will be applied towards the new session date.

Falcon Photography is the studio of choice for portraits for a number of reasons. Perhaps one of the primary reasons is that we offer a 100% guarantee.

That's right. We guarantee that you will love your portraits or we either reshoot them or refund your money. No hassles and no hard feelings, either. We truly care about the people we photograph and want them to love their portraits, not just be satisfied with them.

Call and speak to Kevin and learn for yourself why Falcon Photography is THE Portrait Place!

[ FAQS ]

It's as easy at 1. 2. 3.

First of all go to If you are already here; congratulations, you are one step ahead of the game. Next, you might want to hit up our contact page and shoot us an e-mail with the date you're intrested in and what the occasion might be. We will get back to you as soon as we can. We can't wait to meet you! If e-mail isn't your thing, you can also give us a call at the studio at 281.560.3686.

Your photo session can take anywhere from one hour to two hours depending on what you choose. Kevin collaborates with clients ahead of time to figure out just what they are looking to capture, and arranges your shoot accordingly. Prices vary depending on how long your shoot will be. The time flies by with Kevin's fast pace and fun-loving style of photography. Sessions are anything but dull. Prepare to enjoy (maybe for the first time ever) your picture being taken.

Well first off, you can expect to have a blast. Kevin takes great care in making sure you are comfortable and enjoying yourself. With the laid-back and cheerful atmosphere he often provides, you will feel free to relax and be yourself (which is what you came to get a photo of, right?). We expect to meet your expectations, so please let us know what you are hoping for and how we can help.

If you have questions about your portrait session and are not familiar with how fine portrait photography works, just ask. It why we are here! There are tips for clothing and such here online or just call us and ask! Also, the more information you can provide us about your wants and needs, the more you will get out of your session. Remember... the more we know what you want, the easier it will be for you to get the kinds of portraits you want.

Feel free to bring ads or ideas from magazines, catalogs or yearbooks that appeal to you. This gives us a better idea of what you like and will help make your session more personal. (Especially for Seniors!)

Be sure to give yourself plenty of time to arrive-- you won't want to be rushed. Plan on arriving about 10-20 minutes before your scheduled session time so that you can get your outfits/props unloaded, touch up hair & make up, check in, fill out quick paperwork, and get situated in the dressing room. We have the utmost respect for all our clients' time and do everything possible to start and end on schedule. Being late for your session will only result in a shorter amount of time spent creating your photographs. If for any reason you anticipate being more than 15 minutes late, please call to re-schedule your appointment. Thank you for your cooperation and consideration!

Please bring anything that you would use to comfort you or your child on a long outing to the park. A couple of change of clothes is also a good idea. You never know when little ones will find a mud puddle! Snacks are also helpful.

The emphasis in your images should be on you and your family, not your clothes. I typically suggest that families wear neutral solid colors that coordinate with one another for group portraits. Avoid busy patterns and clothing with writing and logos. On the other hand if the session is mainly for one child, a fun, more vibrant outfit can often make for a great photograph. It really depends on the style you are looking to achieve. If bold patterns capture your child, by all means, bring the outfit that suits your child's personality!

For Newborns: Come prepared with several baby blankets, pacifiers, bows/hats & your boppy pillow and burp cloth for some feeding breaks. Babies often look cutest in their birthday suits, or in just a diaper with a diaper cover. Feel free to bring a couple of different outfits for your child. Also, bring any items that you feel express your personality or have sentimental value that you want to remember. Clothing options can be discussed in your pre-session consultation. So not to fret, your babe is in good hands.

Kevin loves to keep things livley & personal. With a indoor studio and access to great outdoor venues; the possibilities are endless. His number one goal is that you love your photographs & have fun while taking them. If you have a specific place in mind feel free to ask or suggest. Kevin is also available to travel.

Yes. Your session includes up to five people (that includes pets). Please add $10 to the session fee for each additional person.

Of course! We can photograph almost every type of pet you can imagine. However, some of our other clients may not be as comfortable with your pet. So, as a courtesy, we ask that you bring a leash or pet carrier and bring someone with you that will be responsible for the pet when not being photographed. We also ask that you clean up after any "accidents" and shedding.

We are excited when you ask means that you can't wait, and well, frankly we are right there with you. We love getting pictures back and seeing how beautiful the lighting is and how pretty that dress looks. So we understand your eagerness. Because of this, we have a high priority for having the fastest turnaround time in town. Below is a list of typical timeframes you can expect.

About 10 to 14 days after your session you will have a viewing session where you will view your images. It’s an exciting time, and we will work with you to place your order, so please be sure that everyone interested is there! We recommend that get a baby-sitter or or make other arrangements for your children, so that you may concentrate without distraction. Portrait orders typically require 1-3 weeks for processing. Larger portraits and special artwork can require up to 3-4 weeks for delivery.

After you have picked your favorites, turn around time on editing is anywhere from 3 to 12 days based on how many images and the complexity of the editing requests. (timeframes may be longer during holiday seasons). Kevin will contact you with a estimated timeframe.
